About Me

I am a botanist with a passion for gardens and gardening.   I have 30 years experience in lecturing to clubs and societies, both in UK and abroad and have also given lectures in the University of Sheffield Division of Continuing Adult Education.

I am also a keen photographer, and particularly enjoy taking photos to use in my talks.

My other passion is family history, and I love researching the multitude of records available.

If you would like to see my range of illustrated talks, click on ‘Gardening talks’, Botanical talks’ or ‘Family History talks’ at the top of this page.
